How We Manage Your Cottage
Professional management focused on fundamentals, not flash.
Full management at KADS means we take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your cottage as a short-term rental — while keeping owners informed without pulling them into daily issues. Our focus is protecting the property, protecting reviews, and operating consistently at a professional level.
Our Management Philosophy
Short-term rentals succeed when expectations are clear and problems are prevented — not reacted to. Our management model is built around proactive oversight, clear standards, and fast local response.
We manage a wide range of properties, from rustic cabins to larger waterfront homes. Our standards are not about luxury finishes or appearance — they are about whether a property can be operated safely, cleanly, and reliably for guests.
Standards Without Pretense
Guests booking a log cabin are not expecting granite countertops or designer furniture. They are expecting the property to be clean, safe, and accurately represented.
Our role is to ensure every property, regardless of size or style:
-
Is maintained properly
-
Has working, clearly listed amenities
-
Delivers the experience it promises
Professional management isn’t about making every cottage the same. It’s about running each one properly.

Owner Communication & Boundaries
Owners should stay informed without being involved in day-to-day operations. We handle decisions within agreed guidelines and loop owners in when meaningful input is needed — not for every minor issue.
This allows your cottage to operate smoothly while giving you peace of mind.
How to Get Started
Every relationship begins with a short Fit Check call to confirm expectations, timing, and operational realities.
If the property appears to be a potential fit, the next step is a paid Readiness Walkthrough — a detailed, on-site assessment focused on identifying risks, opportunities, and any changes needed before going live.
If we proceed with full management, the walkthrough fee is applied toward onboarding.
