About KADS Rental Management
Local owners. Hands-on managers. One point of accountability.
KADS Rental Management was founded by Jordan and Clare Kadlovski, long-time residents of Eagle Lake, Ontario. Like many cottage owners, we experienced firsthand both the opportunity and the challenges that come with short-term rentals. Managing our own property showed us how quickly small issues can turn into guest complaints, bad reviews, or unnecessary stress without consistent, local oversight.
We started KADS to provide a different kind of management — one that is local, practical, and directly involved in the day-to-day realities of operating short-term rentals in the Haliburton Highlands.
Owner-Operated by Design
KADS is not a franchise, a call center, or a volume-based management company. When you work with us, you deal directly with the owners of the business. This means clearer communication, faster decisions, and direct accountability.
We intentionally manage a limited number of properties so we can remain hands-on and responsive. Our focus is not on managing as many listings as possible, but on managing each property properly.
A Wide Range of Properties
We manage a broad mix of cottages across the Haliburton Highlands — from simple cabins and seasonal cottages to fully winterized waterfront homes.
What matters most to us is not the property’s price point or finishes, but whether it can be operated responsibly and professionally as a short-term rental. Cleanliness, safety, working amenities, and accurate listings are far more important than luxury upgrades.
Local Knowledge That Actually Matters
Living and working locally means we understand the realities of cottage country — seasonal access, winter conditions, well and septic systems, dock safety, power outages, and weather-related issues.
This on-the-ground knowledge allows us to anticipate problems, respond quickly, and make practical decisions that protect both the guest experience and the property itself.
Next Step
If you’re considering professional management and want an honest conversation about whether your property is a good fit, the first step is a short Fit Check call.
